How It Works

Step #1: Request

Fill out the form on our Mail-In Sharpening page. At checkout, select the number of shears you need sharpened, and we’ll send you pre-labeled packaging.

Place the number of shears you ordered into the pre-labeled packaging and send them on their way.

FAQs

  • Stylist convex shears (often called Japanese-style shears) have a smooth, curved outer edge and a razor-sharp cutting edge ideal for precision and advanced cutting techniques. Shears have a hollow ground blades with a concave shape on the inside of the blade. Barbers beveled-edge scissors (commonly known as German-style shears) have a more angular edge, similar to sewing scissors, and are great for blunt, straight cutting. Bevel Scissors have a flat ground blade with a straight flat surface inside of the blade.
